PSAC WOMEN’S LACROSSE ATHLETES OF THE WEEK – 5
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference office announced this week’s women’s lacrosse athletes of the week. From the East, East Stroudsburg University's Emily Mitarotonda and West Chester University's Molly Reinhart were honored, while in the West, Seton Hill University's Kate Kada and Mercyhurst University's Kaitlyn Lippert were selected.
Women’s Lacrosse Eastern Division Athlete of the Week
Emily Mitarotonda – East Stroudsburg

Emily Mitarotonda became the first freshman at East Stroudsburg to score six goals in a game since her sister, Krista, posted six goals on three occasions during her first year in 2018. She is tied with Hana Cicerelle in the team-lead with 26 goals on the season. She also leads the Warriors with 37 draw controls. Her six goals against Bloomsburg paved the way for the Warriors in a 17-9 conference win. She totaled eight shots on goal in the contest and had a pair of draw controls to go along with her six scores.

Molly Reinhart – West Chester

Molly Reinhart caused five turnovers, tipped two shots that eventually sailed wide of the cage, and was credited with one ground ball in West Chester's 16-8 victory over Shippensburg on Saturday afternoon. The pre-season All-America defender single-handedly limited the Raiders' looks at the cage, playing all 60 minutes.

Kada led the Griffins to an 18-9 home win over IUP in PSAC West action to improve to 7-0 overall and 6-0 in the West. Kada scored five goals on just six shots in the win. She also added 4 draw controls, 2 caused turnovers and a groundball.

Lippert was a massive reason while the Lakers were able to hold on for a massive PSAC West win on Saturday afternoon over Slippery Rock as she made 11 saves posting double-digits for the fifth time this season. She also recorded an impressive 13 stops versus Gannon on Tuesday and has helped the Lakers find their stride heading into a pivotal rematch with Seton Hill this Saturday. She ranks inside the NCAA Top-20 in save percentage, saves, saves per game and groundballs per game.
