PSAC Women’s Soccer Athletes of the Week — 4

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference office announced this week’s women’s soccer athletes of the week. In the PSAC East, Brooke Foster of Bloomsburg earned Athlete of the Week honors and Hayley McGee of West Chester University captured Defensive Athlete of the Week. On the PSAC West side, Jordyn Minda of Slippery Rock is the Athlete of the Week and Grace Kenyon of Seton Hill University earned the defensive honor.

Brooke Foster scored both goals for the Huskies in the 2-0 victory over Lock Haven. She collected an unassisted goal in the 43rd minute and then sealed the game for Bloomsburg in the 86th minute. She also launched a shot on goal in the Huskies 1-0 overtime win against East Stroudsburg.

Hayley McGee posted two shutouts during West Chester’s 2-0 week. She made three saves in the win over Mansfield and recorded another three saves to defeat Millersville. McGee has not allowed a goal in her last 347 minutes played.

Jordyn Minda recorded an assist on the game-winning goal in the 85th minute as Slippery Rock defeated IUP 1-0. She scored a goal in Slippery Rock’s 3-0 shutout over Cal U. Three of her six shots this week were on target.

Grace Kenyon recorded her third shutout of the season in Seton Hill’s 1-0 victory over Mercyhurst. She saved all eight of the shots Mercyhurst sent towards the goal.
