LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference picked this week’s field hockey athletes of the week. Rachel Dusman of Kutztown University was recognized as the top offensive athlete, and Amy Supey of East Stroudsburg University was recognized as the best defensive player.

Rachel Dusman led the Kutztown offense with four goals and an assist in two games last week, going 2-0 in the two games. The midfielder had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 upset victory over second-ranked Shippensburg on the road last Tuesday. Then, this past Saturday, Dusman recorded her second hat trick of the season, scoring three goals in a non-conference win over Neumann. She leads the PSAC in points this season with 30 and is second in goals scored with 12.

Amy Supey continued her outstanding season in net for the third-ranked Warriors, recording a season-high six saves and her second shutout of the year in a 3-0 victory over Bloomsburg. The junior leads the PSAC and all of NCAA DII with a 0.25 goals against average and 0.917 save percentage.
