QUICK HITS, WEEK 11
• WCU - West Chester upset Kutztown on the road 28-9 in their penultimate game of the season. West Chester is 16-2 all-time over Clarion all-time. The Golden Rams will look to keep a five-game winning streak alive over the Golden Eagles.]
• CLAR - Clarion faced a tough road shutout by IUP last weekend to drop to a 3-7 record. Clarion has a chance at their first victory over West Chester since 2002.
• LHU - Lock Haven fell in Week 11 at the hands of Shippensburg by multiple possessions. Lock Haven will close out their season on the road at Edinboro, a program with whom they are suffering a 15-game losing streak to.
• BORO - Edinboro made for a lively contest against Slippery Rock, but ultimately dropped the game by one possession. The Fighting Scots have not given up a win to Lock Haven since 2000, and have not lost at home since 1981.
• VILLE - Millersville pulled out a close 25-17 win against Bloomsburg on the road to close out their PSAC East schedule. Millersville are at a 1-1 standstill with Seton Hill in the short history between the two programs. They will look to increase their road record to 2-0.
• SHU - Seton Hill shutout Mercyhurst in a low-scoring 7-0 affair at home versus Mercyhurst. The Griffins hope to break the all-time tie with the Marauders and gain their first win over the visitors at home.
• BLOOM - The Bloomsburg football team struggled to find its rhythm on offense in the first half and fell to visiting Millersville, 25-17. The Huskies are down 3-5 to Mercyhurst in the all-time head-to-head, and will be wanting to snap a three-game losing skid.
•  HURST - The Lakers final away game ended in a shutout by Seton Hill. The Lakers are   on the verge of their fourth consecutive win over Bloomsburg, and have not lost to them since 2014.
• SHIP - Shippensburg routed Lock Haven 44-7 last weekend to improve to 4-6. Shippensburg are locked 2-2 with Gannon since 2010 will have a chance to break the tie in their final game of the season.
• GANN - Gannon improved to 8-2 and clinched a three-way tie for the Western Division championship thanks to an impressive 25-13 win at California (Pa.) last Saturday. The Golden Knights also meet the Raiders for the first time since 2017. Oddly enough, the visiting team has won each previous meeting.
• ESU - Despite building a 14-0 advantage to start the contest, the East Stroudsburg fell to third-ranked Shepherd by a score of 37-14. East Stroudsburg closes their season against Cal (Pa.). The Warriors are down 1-4 to the Vulcans all-time and search for their first win since initial meeting between the two teams in 2006.
• CAL - California (Pa.) suffered a 25-13 defeat to Gannon to fall to 5-5 on the season. With a win, Cal can secure their fifth consecutive victory over East Stroudsburg, in their first time hosting the Warriors since 2010.
• KUTZ - Kutztown dropped their home finale to West Chester in a score of 28-9. Kutztown travels to Slippery Rock for their final contest. The Golden Bears are fairly even with The Rock, going 4-6 in the last 10 matchups.
• SRU - Slippery Rock’s stout defense saved the day with a dominant fourth quarter after offensive miscues nearly cost The Rock in a 28-21 hard-fought win at home against Edinboro. SRU has not hosted Kutztown since 2014 and are 5-1 at home in the series.
• SHEP - Shepherd beat East Stroudsburg last weekend to take the PSAC Eastern Division title and remain undefeated on the season. This will be Shepherd’s first PSAC Championship Final appearance. The Rams are a perfect 4-0 against IUP in the all-time series, and have beaten them on two occasions since joining the conference in 2019.
• IUP - IUP steamrolled Clarion to clinch their share of the PSAC Western Division title. At next week’s PSAC Championship, IUP looks to match West Chester for a conference-record 19th championship. IUP have yet to defeat Shepherd, but came closest in 2019 when they lost a playoff heartbreaker, 31-27.
