PSAC Women’s Lacrosse Athletes of the Week – 1
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference office announced this week’s women’s lacrosse athletes of the week. In the PSAC East, Abby Kalish of Bloomsburg University was named Athlete of the Week and Meghan Cull of West Chester University earned Defensive Athlete of the Week. From the PSAC West, Charleigh Rondeau of Slippery Rock University received Athlete of the Week and Sarah Reustle of Indiana University of Pennsylvania was the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Abby Kalish led Bloomsburg to a win in the season opener. Against Georgian Court, she scored five goals, including three free position shots, and added an assist. She won seven draw controls and picked up a ground ball.

Meghan Cull helped West Chester to a season opening win over Mercyhurst. Cull caused four turnovers and picked up four ground balls. She took two shots on goal and scored once.

Charleigh Rondeau led Slippery Rock to a win over Shepherd in the first game of the season. She scored twice, including the game-winner in the third quarter, and dished out three assists. Rondeau also won 10 draw controls, caused a turnover, and picked up three ground balls.

Sarah Reustle helped IUP to a win in their season opener last week. Against Ashland, she set career highs with eight ground balls and six caused turnovers. She also recorded two assists and won a draw control.
