EDINBORO: The Scots return to action next Saturday when they travel to Seton Hill. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m.
SETON HILL: Seton Hill defeated IUP 35-28 on Saturday. It was the first win over IUP in school history for the Griffins.
MERCYHURST: Mercyhurst goes on the road this upcoming week to round out the month of October as they go to California, Pa. To play the Vulcans on Saturday, October 28th, in a 12:00 p.m. start.
CALIFORNIA: Junior running back Eric McKan III led the team with 99 rushing yards on 18 attempts last Saturday.
CLARION: The Golden Eagles are coming off a 34-20 road win at Edinboro on Saturday, a game in which Clarion dominated on the ground and benefitted from splash plays on special teams.
SLIPPERY ROCK: Slippery Rock is outscoring opponents 104-13 in the third quarter this year, scoring an average of 13.0 points in the third while allowing just 1.6 points in the third. The Rock are outscoring opponents 166-67 in the second half this season.
WEST CHESTER: West Chester hits the road one more time next Saturday for a 1 p.m. kickoff against Lock Haven in a battle for fourth place in the league standings.
LOCK HAVEN: The defense has been powered by Penn State transfer Cody Romano, who is tied for second in the PSAC in solo tackles (43) and seventh in sacks with seven. Romano has a tackle for loss in every game.
SHIPPENSBURG: Redshirt-sophomore punter Tanner Luther also helped sway the game in the Raiders’ favor, pinning the Marauders back inside their own 20 four times in 11 attempts.
E. STROUDSBURG: The Warriors turn its head to Shippensburg next Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
MILLERSVILLE: Millersville’s defense tallied five sacks vs. Shippensburg to add to its PSAC-leading total of 28.
KUTZTOWN: Kutztown got another tremendous effort from its defense, which made a touchdown on the Golden Bears’ second possession stand up in a 7-3 PSAC East victory at Lock Haven last Saturday afternoon.
GANNON: The winning points came on a 32-yard field goal by Eric Scarpino with six seconds remaining. It was the first game-winning field goal in the final seconds for Gannon since 2009. Scarpino is has yet to miss a kick in 2023.
IUP: IUP looks to refocus for its home finale and Senior Day against Gannon on Saturday, October 28. Kickoff from Miller Stadium is set for 2:00 p.m.
SHEPHERD: Shepherd forced four turnovers and committed just one. Junior linebacker Harold O’Neal led the Rams with six tackles (three solos).
BLOOMSBURG: Senior Quentin Gaskill made a season-best 13 tackles between seven solo stops and six assists and had one tackle for a loss of two yards.
