Willis set a season high with 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns, as California posted a 28-21 win at Seton Hill on Saturday evening. He totaled eight catches against the Griffins, highlighted by a 75-yard score with nine seconds left in the third quarter to give his team the lead, 21-14. Willis, who posted his third 100-yard game of the season, also caught an eight-yard touchdown as time expired in the first half to give the Vulcans a 14-7 lead heading into halftime.

Diaz had another stout game for the Edinboro defense as the Scots upset No. 25 IUP on Saturday, 27-23. Diaz made 15 tackles against the Crimson Hawks including seven solo stops. With the Scots trailing 23-20 and IUP on the move at the Scot 29-yard line, hebroke up a fourth-and-five pass to give Edinboro the ball back with 5:32 left int he game.. He also intercepted the final pass of the game as time expired to seal the win for the Scots. Diaz now leads Division II in tackles, averaging 14 stops per game and ranks 12th in the nation and 1st in the PSAC in solo stops with 5.8 per contest.

Wagner averaged 51.3 yards per punt with a long of 64 in the Griffins' contest vs California. He had five of his six punts downed inside the 15 yard line, including one downed at the one yard line. Wagner had a net of 51 yards per punt and also had touchbacks on three of his four kickoffs.

Jordan threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 124 yards and another score to lead West Chester to a stunning upset over visiting Shepherd, 35-14, last Saturday. He was directly responsible for three of the Golden Rams' five TDs while his 72-yard run down to the 1-yard line set up a fourth TD. It marked the second straight week that the QB rushed for over 100 yards and led West Chester to a win. Jordan completed a nine yard pass on 3rd-and-4 during West Chester's final TD drive in the fourth quarter to help secure WCU's first-ever win over Shepherd.

Micucci led the Raiders to a comeback victory at Millersville Saturday, 35-27, erasing two separate 14-point deficits and outscoring he Marauders 21-3 in the second half. He threw four touchdown passes--which were the first of his collegiate career--in just his second career start. He completed 22-of-33 attempts for 284 yards and also led the Raiders with 63 yards rushing. He and the Raiders also found success on third down, converting eight of 15 third down attempts and 2-for-2 on fourth down conversions in the contest. Both of his second half TD pasess occurred on third and long plays in the red zone.

Dingle recorded two first-half interceptions against Bloomsburg and now has three picks over his past three games. The first interception came on Bloomsburg's first play from scrimmage, with Dingle returning it 36 yards down to the Bloomsburg nine yard line to set up an ESU touchdown on the very next play to make it 10-0. Dingle is tied for the PSAC East lead in interceptions and also tied for second on the team with five tackles against Bloomsburg, adding a tackle for loss.

Millard had a historic game for No. 5 Kutztown this past Saturday as he connected on a program-record 50-yard field goal. It was a career-long and broke a 30-year KU record for the longest kick (the previous being 48 yards.) Millard also had three punts, averaging 33 yards, and was responsible for kickoff duties -- finishing with five kickoffs, two of which went for touchbacks.

Cole helped the Griffins to a pair of critical PSAC West wins over Clarion and Pitt-Johnstown as the Griffins moved into sole possession of second place in the division. Cole led SHU with 56 kills in the three matches, hitting at a .357 clip. She added 29 digs, 4 blocks and 3 aces. Cole had two double-doubles including a season high 24 kills with 13 digs in the four-set win over Pitt-Johnstown. She added 19 kills (.400 hitting percentage), 12 digs, a block assist, and an ace in the 3-2 win over Clarion.

Flohr helped the Griffins to a pair of PSAC West wins over Pitt-Johnstown and Clarion, helping Seton Hill take sole possession of second place in the division. She finished with 12 blocks and nine digs in the three contests. Flohr had 7 blocks and 17 kills in the five-set win over Clarion and added four blocks against UPJ. On the offensive end, she also added 44 kills and two aces while hitting .372 on the week.

Coulter led ESU with 30 kills and 12 blocks in seven sets (4.29 kills/set, 1.71 blocks/set) in wins over Bloomsburg and Lock Haven. She hit at an efficient .484 clip, with just two attack errors on 58 attempts and also provided six aces. Coulter leads the PSAC in hitting percentage by over .100 points (.463), ranks fourth in kills per set (3.91 kills) and is third in blocks per set (1.32).

Zeitz recorded 40 digs in a 2-0 week for the Rams, with wins over Millersville (3-0) and West Chester (3-1). She added three assists and three aces. Against Millersville she tallied 19 digs with no reception errors, while against WCU she had 21 digs and just two reception errors. Shepherd remains unbeaten in PSAC play at 5-0 and is 13-4 on the season, just one win away from matching the team's win total (14) from the 2023 season.

Millersville won both games this week. Strohecker had the game-winning goal in the game against Lock Haven. On a breakaway, she shot the ball, it ricocheted off the post, she followed her shot and scored to win 2-1. In the game against Mansfield, Strohecker scored goal number two and had an assist in a 5-0 win.

Grace Keen (Lincoln University, Pa./Avon Grove) was excellent in goal for West Chester this week, posting a pair of shutout victories as West Chester defeated Shepherd and ESU to stretch its winning streak to three straight. Keen started her week with a four-save shutout victory over Shepherd, who had entered play unbeaten and ranked 16th in Division II with one of the top offensive units in the PSAC East. On Saturday afternoon, the sophomore keeper followed this effort up with a three-save shutout victory over ESU, helping guide West Chester to its third win and third shutout in as many games.

Grace Emanuel struck for two goals and an assist and a game-winning goal in Gannon's 5-0 victory over Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday. She opened the scoring just 14:39 into the game when she took a pass from Gabby Boden on the right side of the box and beat the UPJ goalie on a short shot. Emanuel scored again at the 33:05 mark when she made a run down the right side of the field, and Brooklyn Respecki fed her a crisp pass as Emanuel raced into the box alone and scored into the right side of the net. Emanuel then dished out an assist on a goal by Respecki at the 61:11 mark as Gannon took a 3-0 lead. Emanuel had her third two-goal game of the season to move her season total to six goals. She also has four assists for 16 points. Emanuel has three game-winning goals.

Malave posted a 1-0-1 record in net for the Scots in a pair of PSAC West contests. Against Seton Hill, she made three saves and while not picking up an assist sent the long ball over the defense that set up the Scots game-tying goal in the final seconds. Against Cal, Malave made six saves and allowed just one goal as the Scots notched a 2-1 victory over the Vulcans.

Kody Besser led the Huskies to a 2-0 week as the anchor of the backline and the leading goalscorer for Bloomsburg with two goals. Netted one goal in Bloomsburg's 4-1 win over St. Thomas Aquinas and the game-winning strike against Seton Hill. Helped the Huskies hold two top-25 scoring offenses to a total of one goal over the week and two sides that combined for 34 shots a game to 16. Guided Bloomsburg to the team's fifth shutout of the season with the win over Seton Hill, the first PSAC and Division II school this season to blank the Griffins. Supported the Huskies' efforts in defeating two regionally ranked sides in the United Soccer Coaches polls and a Seton Hill squad receiving national votes. The only PSAC East player on the week to score two goals.

Braden Alicea helped the Huskies to a 2-0 week with two assists against St. Thomas Aquinas and his instrumental two-way play along the wing against Seton Hill. Set up Kody Besser on the team's first goal against the Spartans before setting up Owen Hollobaugh for the team's first of two second-half goals in a 4-1 win. Helped the Huskies hold two top-25 scoring offenses to a total of one goal over the week and two sides that combine for 34 shots a game and 16 on target to 16 total shots and five on goal across the two games. Guided Bloomsburg to the team's fifth shutout of the season with the win over Seton Hill, the first PSAC and Division II school this season to blank the Griffins. Supported the Huskies' efforts in defeating two regionally ranked sides in the United Soccer Coaches polls and a Seton Hill squad receiving national votes. Slippery Rock forward Aaron Finney scored a late game-winner in a 2-1 thriller over Shepherd in a 1-1 week for The Rock men's soccer team. Finney took two shots on the week, one against both Lock Haven in Wednesday's 1-0 home loss as well as another by way of scoring his 84th-minute goal against Shepherd. After The Rock played with 10 men for the final 20 minutes, Finney converted a corner kick with 6:35 remaining to give a shorthanded Slippery Rock side its first home win of the year.

Corti played his usual outstanding defense but he also contributed a goal to help Gannon to back-to-back victories over West Virginia Wesleyan and West Chester. Against West Chester on Saturday, Corti scored the game's first goal at the 17:40 mark. Shota Toyama launched a cornerback that was redirected by Pau Ferrer to Corti on the right side of the box. He shot in traffic and scored into the left side of the net. He played all 90 minutes of both wins defensively. Corti's goal was the third goal of his career and his third game-winning goal.

De Meyer finished with two goals and an assist this week in a pair of victories over NCAA Division II Top Ten opponents. Wednesday at No. 5 West Chester, De Meyer scored the tying and game-winning goals in a 3-1 Shippensburg victory. She also provided the assist on the Raiders' opening goal in the 6-1 win last Saturday at No. 9 Mansfield. Her two goals doubled her season total entering the week, giving her four in 2024-25.

Harrold led the impressive defensive efforts for the No. 2-ranked Golden Bears last week. In two PSAC victories (2-1 over No. 4 Bloomsburg and 6-0 over Frostburg State) Harrold finished with one goal and two assists. She scored the game-tying goal at Bloomsburg which ignited a comeback win on the road. She was a large part of a stifling defense that kept Bloom's potent offense in check, including NCAA Division II goals leader Aydan McFarland, who was held without a shot in the contest while the Huskies managed only four shots as a team. Then, two nights later, Harrold assisted on two of KU's goals in a shutout victory over Frostburg State.

Albee totaled 12 saves this week in a pair of victories over NCAA Division II Top Ten opponents. Wednesday at No. 5 West Chester, Albee tied her season high with seven saves in a 3-1 victory. She added five saves in a 6-1 win Saturday at No. 9 Mansfield. Albee has allowed a total of five goals in 11 total starts, and has not allowed more than one goal in any game this season. Her 12 stops allowed her to retain her spot as the top goalie in NCAA Division II in terms of save percentage (.943) and goals against average (.211).

PSAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

Szep was first at the Fighting Scots Invitational last Friday afternoon, finishing the 6K course in 23:06.6. She finished over nine seconds ahead of the second-place finisher and averaged 6.11.9 per mile. Edinboro's team finished second in the team results and had three top-10 finishers.

Bernarding captured the first invitational title of his career last Saturday morning while competing at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. He won the eight-kilometer race by over 24 seconds after crossing the finish line in 25 minutes, 7.2 seconds. Bernarding competed in a field of over 130 entries and helped the Vulcans finish third in the team standings.

Susana Ungo Quero registered four first-place wins individually while logging another four first-place efforts on relays with a second-place showing mixed in, during West Chester's first three events of the season. Ungo Quero, a transfer from Emmanuel University where she was the Conference Carolina's Female Swimmer of the Year last winter, helped West Chester finish first overall as a team in both the PSAC Sprint Frenzy and the PSAC Invitational last Friday and also helped the Golden Rams top Southern Connecticut State University in a dual meet two weeks ago.

David Bocci was among the leading scorers for the Golden Eagles at both of the PSAC meets held on Friday, contributing to relay wins while also picking up a couple of individual victories as well. In the early Sprint Frenzy, Bocci won the 50 Free with a time fo 23.03 and also contributed to a victory from the 200 Medley Relay team, swimming the fastest leg of the event for his team and helping them reach a time of 1:33.62. In the Fall Invitational later that afternoon, Bocci contributed to a win in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 3:28.59, and also won the 200 IM with a time of 1:56.80.

Berish recorded a program record en route to his second tournament win of the season, carding a three-under 69 at the Husky Invitational on Thursday. the Pottstown-native's won by six strokes while lifting the Huskies to a team win. They defeated the defending PSAC champions, Millersville by four strokes. The junior went bogey-free on the front nine, recording birdies on the par-five fifth and the par-four ninth. A bogey on the tenth hole proved to be the only blemish on his scorecard as he rattled off six-straight pars down the stretch. On the 17th hole, Berish holed out from 75 yards to record an eagle and move to three-under. His career-low 69 is the first sub-70 round in program history.

Parrini earned medalist honors and shot a 36-hole total of 9-under-par 135 while helping the Gannon men's golf team to a five-stroke victory in the Davenport University Panther Invitational last Saturday and Sunday at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Augusta, Mich. Parrini carded a 4-under-par 68 in the first round to tie for the individual lead going into the final round. He followed that with a 5-under 67 in the second round to finish with a 135 and a seven-shot victory. His performance helped Gannon overcome a seven-stroke deficit on the way to a five-stroke victory in a field of 12 teams on Sunday. Parrini had six birdies and 10 pars in the first round. He carded five birdies and 13 pars in the second round while shooting 1-under 35 on the front nine and 4-under 32 on the back nine. This was Gannon's fourth consecutive tournament victory and Parrini's second individual title of the season.

LeCureux, a freshman, paced Gannon by shooting back-to-back rounds of 2-over-par 74 in the Davenport University Panther Invitational at Stonehedge Golf Club course in Augusta, Mich. Her sixth-place total of 4-over 148 helped the Gannon women’s golf team to a third-place finish with a 36-hole total 28-over-par 604. Her 148 is the fifth-lowest 36-hole total in Gannon history. LeCureux had one birdie and 14 pars in the first round and added two birdies and 12 pars in the second round.
