LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the next set of Men’s and Women’s Swimming Athletes for Week nine for the 2024-25 season. From Edinboro, Elijah Innis was selected as the Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week and from California, Gabby Miller earned the Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week.

Against Shippensburg, Innis was a member of two first-place relay teams the 200 medley and 200 freestyle. He swam a personal best split in the 200 free relay of 20.90. He also placed first in the 100-butterfly in a time of 52.55. Innis placed first in the 100-backstroke (54.97), 100-freestyle (50.61), 100-butterfly (54.48) against Allegheny.

Gabby Miller reached a trio of PSAC-qualifying marks and won a combined five events (three relays) over the weekend, as the Vulcans hosted a pair of events in their first action in six-plus weeks. She won the 100 freestyle on Friday by nearly two seconds with a league-qualifying time of 53.57 seconds, plus was a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay. The following day, Miller claimed the victory in the 50 freestyle with a PSAC-qualifying time of 24.47 seconds and reached the league standard with a time of 1:00.37 in the 100 butterfly. Additionally, she anchored the winning 400 freestyle relay in the final event of the Vulcan Invitational – also the last home race of her college career.
