PSAC Swimming Athletes of the Week - 10

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the next set of Men’s and Women’s Swimming Athletes for Week 10 for the 2024-25 season. From Edinboro, Eliza Miller was selected as the Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week and from Clarion, Dominic Cortopassi earned the Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week.

Eliza Miller made her Edinboro debut in a big way on Saturday scoring three first-place finishes. In the 200-free style, she turned in a time of 1:53.17 finishing over four seconds ahead of Clarion's Joslyn Jurski. She also touched the wall first in the 100-freestyle with a time of 53.03. Miller also finished first in the 500-free with a time of 5:11.01.

Dominic Cortopassi won two individual events and was part of a winning relay on Friday as the Golden Eagles beat Edinboro at the PennWest Duals by a score of 113.5-64.5. He started the day as part of a win in the 200 Medley Relay, joining Mason Peck, Gavin Guckavan and Austin Prokopec for a time of 1:34.32 that was more than two seconds faster than the Fighting Scots' foursome. Later on Cortopassi led the field in the 200 Free, beating the rest of the field by more than five seconds with a time of 1:42.02, and later won the 100 Breast with a time of 57.31.
