QUICK HITS FOR PSAC TEAMS, WEEK 8:


EDINBORO: The Edinboro defense is ranked seventh overall in the PSAC and allows 355.1 yards per game (200.9 of which are passing yards, which is the sixth-best total in the conference.)

GANNON: The Golden Knights host Edinboro this Saturday in the battle for the 814. The Golden Knights have won the last four meetings with the Fighting Scots including last year’s last-minute 25-21 win.

BLOOMSBURG: Huskies quarterback K.J. Riley led the way for Bloomsburg with 142 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 75 rushing yards on 18 carries.

MILLERSVILLE: Millersville football’s fifth annual Wall of Honor inductees will be recognized during the Saturday, Oct. 25 game against Bloomsburg. 

EAST STROUDSBURG: The Warriors won its sixth straight game with a 24-7 win over Shippensburg last Saturday.

SHEPHERD: The Rams amassed 313 yards of total offense in their game against Bloomsburg last Saturday.

KUTZTOWN: The Golden Bears lead the PSAC in scoring offense (43.7 points per game), scoring defense (7.4 points allowed per game), yards allowed per game (225.9), and passing defense (144.3 yards allowed per contest.)

WEST CHESTER: Jimmy Wright led the Golden Rams’ defense with nine tackles on the day, including eight solo efforts.

LOCK HAVEN: The Bald Eagles win over West Chester was the first for Lock Haven in 34 years (Oct. 26, 1991) and snapped a 13-game losing streak to the Golden Rams, a longtime PSAC East perennial power.

SHIPPENSBURG: Linebacker Nate Myers led all players with nine tackles and had one of Shippensburg’s five tackles-for-loss (TFLs). 

CALIFORNIA: Sophomore wide receiver Deontae Williams raced 56 yards for the game-winning touchdown with two seconds left to play on Saturday afternoon, as the Vulcans captured a 31-28 victory over Clarion on Homecoming at Adamson Stadium.

IUP: This Saturday's game is the 16th edition of the Coal Bowl, which began in October 2011. IUP has come up short in nine of the 16 games played since the Coal Bowl Trophy was introduced. 

SETON HILL: Ky'Ron Craggette finished with 209 yards rushing and two touchdowns against Gannon.
