LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Athletes of the Week. From IUP, Gem Crittenden was selected as the Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week while Bloomsburg's Jack Drake earned the Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week honor.

Crittenden has eight first-place finishes on the season, including three last Saturday in IUP's dual meet against Gannon. The IUP women dominated the Golden Knights. Crittenden finished first in the 100 fly (57.11), 200 fly (2:05.35) and the 200 IM (2:10.37). All three of these times are currently the fastest in the PSAC.

Drake swept both of his individual events and powered Bloomsburg’s 400 Free Relay victory with a blistering 45.45 opening split. His 100-free time (relay opener) is the fastest 100-free time of the season in the PSAC, and his 200-fly time is the fastest in the PSAC.
50 Free – 1st place, 20.97 (PSAC mark)
200 Butterfly – 1st place, 1:52.59 (PSAC mark)
Lead-off, 400 Free Relay – Bloomsburg “A” relay 1st place, 3:05.21, split - 45.45
