PSAC Golf Athletes of the Week - 5

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Golf Athletes of the Week. For Men's Golf, Pitt-Johnstown's Griffin Hansberry  was selected. For Women's Golf, Shepherd's Sara Veara was recognized for the second consecutive week.

Hansberry shot 2-under in Tuesday's final round of the Tiffin Kyle Ryman Memorial at Mohawk Country Club to climb six spots and tie for second with Tiffin's Daniel Aitken at -4 and lead the Mountain Cats to a third-place finish in the 13-team field. He shot 70, 72, and 70 over three rounds.

Veara shot a two-round total of 154 to take medalist honors at the Kutztown Fall Classic. She shot a 75 and 79 over the two days to finish atop the leaderboard. It is her second win in as many weeks, as she also was the medalist at the Cardinal Classic on Sept. 29.
