LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Football Athletes of the Week for Week 11 of the 2025 season. In the Western Division, Slippery Rock's JayJay Jordan is the Offensive Athletes of the Week while California's Alexie Sangster Jr. (Defensive Athlete of the Week) and Gannon's Bryson Costa (Special Teams Athlete of the Week) were also selected. In the Eastern Division, Bloomsburg's KJ Riley and Lock Haven's Jackson Ostrowsky were named Co-Offensive Athletes of the Week and were joined by Kutztown's Brayden Pohlman (Defensive) and Bloomsburg's Eli Zimmerman (Special Teams) as this week's selections.

Jordan ran for 181 yards and two touchdowns and tallied three kick returns for 80 yards to finish with a game-high 261 all-purpose yards in an overtime loss on the road at Bloomsburg. He averaged 7.5 yards per carry in the game and finished the season ranked No. 1 in the PSAC in every rushing category and all-purpose yards with 1,375 rushing yards and 1,858 all-purpose yards in just 10 games. His totals this fall in just 10 games rank him eighth in single-season history at SRU in rushing and third in all-purpose yards.

Sangster set a career high with 16 tackles on Saturday, as the Vulcans closed the regular season with a 35-10 victory at Shippensburg. He also added 1.0 sack in the first meeting between the team since 2019. Sangster helped anchor a defense that limited the Raiders to only 226 yards of total offense with Shippensburg scoring its lone touchdown in the final minute of play.

Costa was perfect on extra points last Saturday (4-for-4) but excelled with his punts on the day. He totaled four punts with a 45.8 average, a long of 60, two inside the 20 yard line, and a pair of 50+ yarders.

Riley guided the Huskies to a dramatic 30–24 overtime victory over Slippery Rock last Saturday, accounting for three total touchdowns and no turnovers in the upset win. Riley completed 22 of 31 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns, finishing with a season-best 71.0% completion rate while spreading the football to seven different receivers. He engineered three long touchdown drives of 72, 75, and 58 yards, and he capped the afternoon by powering in the game-winning 1-yard rushing touchdown in overtime, sealing Bloomsburg’s biggest home win of the 2025 season. He added 32 rushing yards on 14 attempts, including multiple designed keepers that sustained drives and his overtime touchdown plunge that clinched the win.

The Lock Haven football team secured its first winning season in 44 years behind a 49-28 victory over visiting Gannon on Saturday and graduate quarterback Jackson Ostrowsky's efforts. Ostrowsky threw for 459 yards (31-for-43) and five touchdowns, which matched his career-high in TD throws.

Pohlman registered four tackles for loss and two sacks to earn PSAC Championship Game Most Valuable Player honors as the Golden Bears won their third straight PSAC title with a 28-23 victory over IUP, Saturday. Pohlman got his big afternoon started with a third-down sack of IUP quarterback Matthew Rueve late in the first quarter that halted the Crimson Hawks' drive. The Egg Harbor Township, N.J., native added two tackles in the third quarter, including one for loss, before making two critical plays in the fourth. With KU holding a 28-23 lead in the final three minutes, Pohlman sacked Rueve for a 6-yard loss to force a third and long. IUP then faced 4th-and-1 from their own 28-yard line, but Pohlman broke into the backfield to drop Tavion Banks for a 3-yard loss to force a turnover on downs and seal the victory for the Golden Bears. Pohlman's five tackles and two sacks both tied career-highs, while his 4.0 tackles for loss were a new career-high.

Zimmerman delivered one of the most impactful special teams performances in the PSAC this week, sparking the Huskies with a combined 139 return yards and setting up multiple short fields in Bloomsburg’s 30–24 overtime win over Slippery Rock. He flipped momentum throughout the afternoon, beginning with a 28-yard opening-kickoff return that immediately put the Huskies near midfield and set up their first scoring drive. He added a 10-yard return later in the first quarter before breaking loose for the biggest special teams play of the game—a 43-yard punt return with :06 remaining in the first half, giving Bloomsburg the ball at the SRU 37. The Huskies capitalized moments later with a field goal to take a 17–7 lead into halftime. He continued to provide field position advantages in the second half, returning a third-quarter kickoff 19 yards to set up another touchdown drive, and added a fourth kickoff return to finish with four kickoff returns for 74 yards (18.5 avg) and two punt returns for 65 yards (32.5 avg)—both season-best marks for the Huskies.
