LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its fourth Wrestling Athlete of the Week for the 2025-26 season, with Kutztown's Wayne McIntyre earning the honor.

McIntyre wrestled to a team-best 5-0 record at last weekend's Bridgeport Open, securing the top spot in the 197-pound class for the sixth-ranked Kutztown University wrestling team in its final outing before conference dual season. He claimed a season-high five wins to build his 2025-26 season mark to 13-1, pinning four opponents in Saturday's competition - all in under one minute - the fastest of which came in 34 seconds in the first round. McIntyre, ranked seventh in the nation at 197 pounds, won via 21-3 technical fall in the fourth round, putting him in position to sweep the weight class in the final bout.
