LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the PSAC Men’s Tennis All-Conference teams and Major Award winners for the 2024-25 season on Friday afternoon.
Major Award winners include Edinboro’s Stanislas Noel as Athlete of the Year, Bloomsburg’s Alex Higuera as Freshman of the Year, and Edinboro’s Travis Myler as Coach of the Year.
All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners are determined by a vote of the league’s head coaches.
Edinboro’s Stanislas Noel earns Athlete of the Year honors after an undefeated run through PSAC opposition and a 15-2 dual record playing out of the No. 1 flight for the Fighting Scots. He partnered with Mathis Amsellem for doubles play as the pair went 9-1 overall, including a win in a match against regional power Charleston.
Bloomsburg’s Alex Higuera was selected as the Freshman of the Year and finished the season with a 5-1 record in PSAC play out of the No. 5 position for the Huskies. His overall singles record was 10-7.
Edinboro’s Travis Myler earned the PSAC Men’s Tennis Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. His team is currently 15-5-1 overall (5-0 PSAC) as Myler and the Scots are still alive in the postseason after guiding the team to a fifth consecutive PSAC Championship and advancement out of the NCAA Division II Men’s Tennis Atlantic Regional.
