PSAC places most institutions in Top 150 of final 2024-25 Division II LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND – Following the conclusion of the 2024-25 sports seasons, 14 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference institutions earned spots in the Top 150 of the final Division II LEARFIELD Directors' Cup Standings, a total that is the most in all of NCAA Division II. The PSAC also placed 16 of its institutions in the standings, which is the highest amount among all Division II conferences.

At No. 30, Gannon is the highest-placing PSAC institution. The Golden Knights amassed 464.00 points, helped in the spring by NCAA appearances by both the men's and women's golf programs.

The second-highest institution from the PSAC in the rankings is East Stroudsburg in 31st place with 463.25 points, in part earned by solid NCAA postseason performances from baseball, softball, women's lacrosse, and men's and women's outdoor track & field.

Following the Warriors is a duo of PSAC institutions hovering around the Top 50: Kutztown in 44th place with 397.50 points and Slippery Rock at 51 with 363.25 points.

Overall, 16 PSAC institutions accumulated at least 25 points to make an appearance in the final standings.

The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. Overall, 15 sports are counted in the final Division II standings, four of which must be women's volleyball, basketball, men's basketball, and baseball. The next highest sports (11 maximum) scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
