PSAC Swimming Athletes of the Week - 10

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Athletes of the Week. IUP's Tina Cudina was selected as the Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week while Gannon's Kuba Loboda earned the Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week honor.

At the John A Pidgeon Memorial Invitational, Cudina had two first place finishes in the 50 free (24.55) and in the 100 breast (1:06.55). In addition to these wins, she finished second in the 200 free (1:59.81) and in the 200 breast (2:29.54). In a tri-meet against Dickinson and Bloomsburg on Friday, Cudina finished second in the 50 free and led off IUP's first place 400 free relay with a time of 52.84.

Loboda delivered a standout performance for Gannon University during the Golden Knights’ tri-meet against Oberlin and Malone on Saturday, helping lead Gannon to a tri-meet sweep and improve to 4-1 in dual meets this season. Loboda recorded two individual victories, highlighted by a pool-record performance in the 100-yard butterfly, where he touched the wall in 47.81 seconds, setting a new facility record. In addition to his pool-record swim, Loboda won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 57.22.
