LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams were announced on Wednesday morning, with Millersville's Aubrey Strohecker from the Eastern Division and Gannon's Brooklyn Respecki from the Western Division named Athletes of the Year.
Kutztown's Maura Day and Slippery Rock's Libby Earley were named Defensive Players of the Year, while Kutztown's Carly Louey and Lock Haven's Colleen Lloyd earned Freshman of the Year honors. Kutztown's Erik Burstein and Slippery Rock's Noreen Herlihy were voted Coaches of the Year in the East and West, respectively.
The All-Conference Teams and Major Awards are determined by a vote of the conference's head coaches. Voting was concluded after the regular season and prior to the beginning of the PSAC Tournament.
WESTERN DIVISION
Gannon's Brooklyn Respecki was voted the Western Division Athlete of the Year after scoring nine goals with seven assists for 25 points in 16 games. All nine of the senior forward's goals came in PSAC play, where her 25 points tied for the conference lead and her seven assists ranked second in the PSAC. Respecki also led all Western Division players in goals, points, shots (92) and shots on goal (48), and she netted two game-winning goals.
Slippery Rock's Libby Earley was voted the Western Division Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring a Rock back line that allowed just 11 goals in 16 PSAC West contests, the fewest in the division. The junior started 14 games and logged 1,074 minutes for The Rock, which captured its second consecutive PSAC West title. Earley also contributed three assists on the offensive end.
Lock Haven's Colleen Lloyd was named the Western Division Freshman of the Year after totaling six goals and five assists for 17 points. The forward also put 23 shots on goal for the Bald Eagles.
Slippery Rock's Noreen Herlihy was voted the Western Division Coach of the Year (her sixth career Coach of the Year honor) after guiding The Rock to a 14-2-2 overall record and a 13-1-2 mark in PSAC West play. SRU captured its second consecutive PSAC West title and sixth overall, clinching it with a 2-0 win at IUP on Oct. 28, and closed the regular season on a 10-game unbeaten streak. The Rock's 45 goals ranked second in the PSAC, and its 41 goals in conference play were the most in the league.
EASTERN DIVISION
Millersville's Aubrey Strohecker was voted the Eastern Division Athlete of the Year after leading the PSAC with 22 goals and 46 points. The senior forward scored seven more goals than any other player in the conference, put 50 of her 75 shots on goal and netted seven game-winning goals. Strohecker also led the league with 12 goals in conference play.
Kutztown's Maura Day earned Eastern Division Defensive Player of the Year honors after anchoring a Golden Bear back line that allowed just 11 goals in 18 games, the second-fewest in the PSAC. The senior defender also contributed seven assists, which tied for second in the conference.
Kutztown's Carly Louey was named the Eastern Division Freshman of the Year after scoring 15 goals with five assists for 35 points, totals that each ranked second in the entire PSAC. The forward also netted eight game-winning goals.
Kutztown's Erik Burstein was voted the Eastern Division Coach of the Year for the fourth time in his career, adding to his honors in 2017, 2021 and 2023, after leading the Golden Bears to a 15-1-2 overall record and a 12-1-1 mark in conference play. Kutztown clinched the PSAC East title with a 1-0 win over West Chester on Oct. 28 and closed the regular season on an eight-game winning streak. The Golden Bears scored a PSAC-best 52 goals and recorded 11 shutouts.
Of the 52 total PSAC Women's Soccer All-Conference honorees this fall, 19 are former all-conference selections, while 33 have been named to an All-PSAC team for the first time in their respective careers.
