LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Golf Athletes of the Week. For Men's Golf, Gannon's Mattia Parrini and Pitt-Johnstown's David Razinskas were selected as Co-Athletes of the Week. For Women's Golf, Gannon's Cloe Mateo was recognized.

Parrini dominated the competition at the Vulcan Fire Classic on Monday and Tuesday. After an opening round of even-par 72, the junior carded a round of 68 to claim the individual title, his first win of the 2025-26 season and second top five finish. He was the only golfer in the field to finish under par.

Razinskas claimed individual medalist honors playing for Pitt-Johnstown's “B” Team at Monday and Tuesday's Pitt-Johnstown Appalachian Collegiate at Blacksburg Country Club in Blacksburg, Va. Razinskas shot even par (72) and +1 (73) on Monday before shooting par (72) on Tuesday to claim medalist honors by one stroke over Virginia Tech's Balthazar Duclos and by three shots over IUP's Alex Swinnerton.

Mateo was both consistent and persistent at the Vulcan Fire Classic on Monday and Tuesday. The junior was the top individual finisher at 13-over par, including a round of three-over 75 on Tuesday. It's her first win and fifth top-five finish of the 2025-26 campaign. Gannon would go on to win the team title by 30 strokes.
