PSAC honors 2025-26 Winter Top 10 award winners

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference is pleased to announce its 2025-26 Winter Top 10 award recipients, as nominated and voted on by the Sports Information and Athletic Communication professionals of the conference.
 
The PSAC Top 10 was initiated in the 1998-99 academic year and is awarded to those men and women student-athletes who excel in both the classroom and athletic competition.

The honorees for Winter 2025-26 are: Logan Anderson (Slippery Rock), Luna Castellanos (Clarion), Tommy Crum Jr. (Shippensburg), Victor Desmond (Gannon), Mia Kalich (Seton Hill), Loreena Manser (California), Kolos Nagy (West Chester), Madeline Newark (Edinboro), Lenya Ryan (West Chester), and Seaton Wozniak (Slippery Rock).

Logan Anderson
Slippery Rock
Edinboro, Pa.  / General McLane
Men’s Indoor Track & Field - Heptathlon
Major: Safety Management
Cumulative GPA: 3.87
 
Anderson was the Atlantic Region and PSAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Year after earning First Team All-America in the heptathlon with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA national meet. He was the PSAC champion in the event and set the top two heptathlon scored in conference history with a mark of 5,323 to win the PSAC title and 5,314 points at the national championships.

Luna Castellanos

Women's Diving
Major: Psychology
Cumulative GPA: 3.62
 
Castellanos earned her fifth career Division II diving national championship with a win in the 1-Meter Dive in 2026. She added a third-place finish in the 3-Meter Dive and was named the CSCAA D-II Women’s Diver of the Year for the third time in four years (tying for the most in NCAA Division II history.) Castellanos is an eight-time All-American and a two-time PSAC Top 10 honoree.

Tommy Crum Jr.

Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Mid Distance / Distance
Major: Communication, Journalism & Media (Broadcast Production)
Cumulative GPA: 3.66
 
Crum Jr. was named the 2026 PSAC Indoor Championship Overall Men’s MVP and Most Outstanding Track Athlete after earning titles in the mile, 3,000m, and Distance Medley Relay at the meet. He broke the all-time PSAC record in the mile during the regular season with a 4:04.09 and remains undefeated at the PSAC Indoor Championships.

Victor Desmond

Men’s Basketball
Major: Business Administration
Cumulative GPA: 3.59
 
 
Desmond started 35 games for the Division II National Champion Golden Knights, averaging 7.3 points and 4.7 rebounds for the year in addition to totals of 28 steals and 30 blocks, with the block total more than double any other GU player. Desmond reached 1,000 career points during the season and was named the 2026 PSAC Men’s Basketball Champion Scholar.

Mia Kalich
Seton Hill
Olmsted Falls, Ohio  / Olmsted Falls
Women’s Basketball
Major: Engineering/Mathematics
Cumulative GPA: 4.00
 
Kalich averaged 14.0 points and 12.1 rebounds per game, adding 127 assists and a conference-best 127 steals, which was also third-most in Division II. She finished the season with 22 double-doubles and three triple-doubles, helping the team to its first appearance in the PSAC semifinals and second straight NCAA Atlantic Region semifinal.

Loreena Manser
California
Chesapeake, Va.  / Grassfield
Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Sprints/Jumps
Major: Health Sciences
Cumulative GPA: 3.95
 
Manser was a NCAA Second Team All-American in the long jump in addition to PSAC titles in the 60m and 200m dashes. She set the California indoor school record in the long jump and ranked first on the PSAC Performance list in that event, the 60m, and the 200m. She also earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in those three events.

Kolos Nagy

Men’s Swimming
Major: International Business
Cumulative GPA: 3.89
 
Nagy, a back-to-back Winter Top 10 honoree, won four titles at the 2026 PSAC Swimming Championships – in the 200 back, 200 fly, and 200/400 IM. He was named the Men’s Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet and was also part of the first-place WCU 400 medley relay. In his career, he has won 11 individual PSAC titles and two more as part of relay champions.

Madeline Newark

Burgettstown, Pa. / Burgettstown
Women’s Indoor Track & Field - Pentathlon
Major: Mathematics
Cumulative GPA: 4.0
 
Newark was the 2026 PSAC champion in the pentathlon, earning a total of 3,441 points. She was consistent across the board in the five events, finishing in the top five in each and posted the top mark in the high jump with a clearance of 1.64 meters. She is a three-time CSC Academic All-District selection.

Lenya Ryan

Wilmington, Del.  / Mt. Pleasant
Women’s Swimming
Major: Criminal Justice
Cumulative GPA: 3.83
 
Ryan was a two-time PSAC champion at the 2026 Swimming Championships, in both the 200 breaststroke and 200 IM, helping WCU to its 23rd overall PSAC title. She also tallied a third-place finish in the 100 breaststroke and second place in the 400 IM at the PSAC meet. She qualified for the NCAA meet in three events (200 breast and the 200/400 IM) and was also named a 2026 PSAC Academic All-Conference honoree.

Seaton Wozniak

Slippery Rock, Pa.  / Slippery Rock
Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Shot Put
Major: Business Management
Cumulative GPA: 4.00
 
Wozniak was a Second Team All-American in the shot put with a 14th place finish at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships. He won the PSAC title with an SRU record throw of 18.40 meters, which was the seventh-best throw in Division II this season. He broke the Rock’s shot put record four separate times during the year before setting the new standard on his final throw at the PSAC Championships to win that competition.
