LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the 2025-26 PSAC Men’s Golf All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners on Thursday afternoon. Gannon’s Rasmus Seppanen was named Athlete of the Year, West Chester’s Paul-Arthur Roth earned the Freshman of the Year honor, and Gannon head coach Scott Stano was voted PSAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year.
The PSAC All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners are selected by a vote of the conference’s head coaches.
Gannon redshirt junior Rasmus Seppanen was named Athlete of the Year after compiling a scoring average of 72.6 in 31 rounds played. He had a pair of runner-up finishes at both the Central/Midwest Preview and at the NCAA East/Atlantic Regional. In total, he completed the year with five Top 5 finishes and seven Top 10 finishes. His season-low score was a 67 at the UC Invitational.
The Freshman of the Year award went to West Chester’s Paul-Arthur Roth, who carried a scoring average of 74.5 for the season. He was the top-placing freshman at the 2025 PSAC Championship (fifth), and collected six Top 10 finishes for the year. He was the medalist at the 2025 King University Invitational, where he also shot his low 18-hole (65) and low 36-hole (68-65) scores for the season.
Gannon head coach Scott Stano earned the PSAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year honor for the second consecutive season after guiding the Golden Knights to a tie for first place at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional, also for the second straight year. The Golden Knights have made five trips to the national tournament in the last six years.
