BLOOMSBURG – Junior Shelly Miller’s unassisted goal with 9:15 remaining in the contest lifted Bloomsburg (20-0-1) to a 1-0 victory over Lock Haven (16-4) in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference field hockey championship game Wednesday. It was the fourth-consecutive conference title for the Huskies and eighth overall
Miller broke up the scoreless duel with her 19th goal of the season when she knocked in a rebound off the pads of Bald Eagles’ senior goalie Alison Brita. Brita was credited with four saves in the loss, junior Rachel Trinidad recorded the shutout with five saves for Bloomsburg.
