The Lady Eagles acquired a .250 hitting percentage, defeating Shippensburg 30-16, 32-20, 30-21. The win propels LHU to the NCAA Regionals. Sophomore Li Yizhi (Shanghai, China) led the team with 13 kills, hitting .550. Along with her record-breaking match in the semifinals, Li was named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament. Also hitting double digits in kills was freshman Inga Kurgonaite (Kaunas, Lithuania/Yuozas Urbsys) with 11 on a .375 hitting. Leading the offense was junior Kelly Kostelich (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) with 24 assists and four digs. Junior Allison Furry (Guys Mills, Pa./Maplewood) chipped in with 10 assists on the evening, while Junior Allison Wade (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg Area) lended a hand with 12 digs and three block assists. The Haven outplayed the Red Raiders, holding them to a -.027 hitting percentage in the first set with a .047 percentage overall. Leaading Shippensburg in kills was Alyssa Kilgore with 10.
