On June 26, 2025, the PSAC announced that it had extended an invitation to Lackawanna College to become the conference's 18th member, contingent on the institution's acceptance as a member of Division II.
In order to facilitate that process, Lackawanna has been added into the conference's schedules for the 2026-27 season in the following sports:
-Baseball
-Men's and Women's Basketball
-Football
-Men's and Women's Soccer
-Softball
-Women's Volleyball
-Men's and Women's Wrestling
Any game played against Lackawanna
will not count in the conference standings, but will still count toward overall records. The games will not be considered "in-region" for NCAA ranking considerations. However, if an institution's game versus Lackawanna were to be designated as an exhibition, no statistics or wins/losses would count for the PSAC institution. In such a scenario, Lackawanna would still count the statistics and win/loss toward its own season totals.
Lackawanna student-athletes will not be eligible for postseason awards of any type, including All-Conference Teams and PSAC Academic Awards, until such time as theyofficially become a member of NCAA Division II and the PSAC.
