Dream Cherry joined the PSAC as a Communications Intern in August 2026, bringing her passion for sports, creativity, and storytelling to the conference. In her role, Cherry works across communications, social media, graphic design, digital content, and championship coverage.
Before joining the PSAC, Cherry served as a graduate assistant coach with the Bethany College women’s basketball program during the 2025-26 season. In addition to coaching, she worked in the creative side of athletics, creating graphics, capturing photos, managing social media content, supporting recruiting efforts, and helping bring gameday moments to life.
A former collegiate basketball player herself, Cherry began her career at Davis & Elkins College in 2021-22, where she started all 28 games and averaged 16 points per game to earn All-Mountain East Conference Second Team honors. She later transferred to Glenville State University, playing in 95 games over three seasons and helping the Pioneers capture the 2022-23 Mountain East Conference Championship and advance to the 2023 NCAA Tournament Semifinals. During her senior season, Cherry averaged 12 points per game, reached the 1,000-point milestone, and earned All-MEC Honorable Mention honors.
A proud Akron, Ohio, native, Cherry earned her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Glenville State University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Higher Learning Education at Bethany College.
