The official site of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference
Nick Moeller is in his second year as the Director of Strategic Communications and New Media for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. In this capacity, he maintains the conference's website, manages the league's social media presence, coordinates athlete of the week selections, and oversees the conference records and statistics.
The conference's social media following continued to expand with Moeller at the helm. The conference's Twitter account gained more than 2,500 followers in Moeller's first year. The PSAC concluded the 2015-16 school year with nearly 11,500 followers, which is the second most in all of Division II. Moeller has also placed an emphasis on video and new media, creating a "Plays of the Week" video for football and developing a PSAC Snapchat account.
Prior to the PSAC, Moeller served as the Assistant Sports Information Director at the University of Montevallo.
With the Falcons, Moeller served as the broadcaster for men's and women's soccer, as well as baseball and softball. Additionally, he called the Peach Belt Conference Championship Games for men's soccer and men's basketball. Moeller also oversaw press row at home events, maintained the department's website and social media pages, wrote game day programs and post-game recaps, and served as public address announcer at various events.
Before Montevallo, Moeller was a Public Relations Assistant with the Kalamazoo Wings, a minor league affiliate of, at the time, the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks.
A native of Otsego, Michigan, Moeller graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and obtained his Master of Arts degree in sport management from Western Michigan University in 2013.
