BLOOMSBURG, Pa. --- The 2016 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Individual Tennis Championships concluded Sunday in Bloomsburg, Pa.

Men's Singles
Edinboro University's Vitor Albanese became the first PSAC men's tennis player to win back-to-back PSAC singles championships on Sunday, taking home the singles title.

Albanese defeated Dhir Gala of Bloomsburg, 6-1, 6-2, in the semifinals. The junior from Barueri, Brazil followed that by outlasting West Chester's Norman Patten, 6-0, 2-6, (10-8) in the finals to repeat as PSAC singles champion. Albanese improved to 14-0 while winning all four of his matches.

Men's Doubles
Mercyhurst players Joaquin Aguilera and Nenad Terzic won the doubles final.

Aguilera and Terzic claimed a 9-7 victory over Edinboro's Vitor Albanese and Daniel Fernandez. The Mercyhurst pair's victory gave the school a repeat result in PSAC doubles competition; Terzic teamed with Travis Beck for the tournament win in 2015.

Women's Singles
Mercyhurst women's tennis player Saioa Gomez de Segura won her third consecutive final.

Gomez de Segura earned her semifinal win over Luise von Agris of IUP, 6-0, 6-1, and then defeated another IUP player -- Jarka Petercakova -- in a tiebreaker, 6-4, 4-6, 10-7, to claim the PSAC singles championship for a third straight year.

Women's Doubles
IUP's Jarka Petercakova and Luise von Agris won the doubles championship.

Petercakova and von Agris become the first individual PSAC champions in IUP history, as the Crimson Hawk duo defeated Claire Uhl and Maddy Shaak of West Chester, 8-2, in the doubles championship match.

The pairing advanced to the title match on Sunday with a dominating 8-1 semifinal win over Mercyhurst's de Segura and Annie Baich, the top seeded team in the bracket. Petercakova and von Agris went a combined 4-0 over the weekend, starting as the No. 4 seed and defeating the top two seeds.
