LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced Pitt-Johnstown’s Jacob Ealy as the wrestling athlete of the week.

Jacob Ealy posted a 5-0 record and won the championship at 149 lbs. at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis. He scored 24.5 team points. In Round 1, Ealy won by fall over Graham Rocha (Lincoln Memorial) at 0:44. In Round 2, he won by an 18-2 tech fall at 5:54 over Ethen Doty (Upper Iowa). The quarterfinal saw Ealy win by major decision over #10 Jake Piccirlli (UNC-Pembroke), 12-1, followed by a semifinal win by decision over #6 Josiah Rider (Adams State), 4-3. In the final match, Ealy won by decision over #3 Nick Young (Gannon), 4-2.
