LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – National champion Dorian Crosby of Gannon University headlines the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s 2025-26 Wrestling Major Awards and was named the PSAC Wrestling Athlete of the Year on Thursday afternoon. Pitt-Johnstown’s Ty Morrison was selected as Freshman of the Year and Gannon head coach Tom Boyd earned Coach of the Year honors for the first time in his career. Along with the Major Award winners, First, Second, and Third-Team All-Conference selections were also announced. A complete list can be found below.
PSAC All-Conference teams and Major Award winners are decided by a vote of the conference’s head coaches.
Gannon’s Dorian Crosby was selected as PSAC Wrestling Athlete of the Year after his NCAA Division II victory at 285 pounds. He also won the heavyweight bracket at the Super Region 1 Championship and finished the season with an unbeaten overall record of 20-0 along with a 4-0 record in PSAC dual meets.
Ty Morrison of Pitt-Johnstown is the 2025-26 PSAC Wrestling Freshman of the Year after finishing as runner-up at 174 pounds in Super Region 1 and then making a deep run to fourth place and All-America status at the NCAA meet. He finished the year with an overall record of 28-5 that included a flawless 6-0 mark in PSAC dual meets.
Gannon head coach Tom Boyd earns his first career conference Coach of the Year honor after guiding the GU to its third-ever PSAC Dual Meet Championship (and first in which it claimed sole possession of the honor) after a 6-0 PSAC dual meet record. The Golden Knights finished with a 12-1 overall dual record in Boyd’s third season as head coach.
For this year’s All-Conference selections, Gannon University led the way with a total of six First Team selections and eight overall. Pitt-Johnstown followed with nine overall selections while Kutztown had seven selections across all three teams.
