LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Basketball Athletes of the Week. In the East, Lock Haven’s Jenadia Jordan (Athlete of the Week) and Alana Robinson (Defensive Athlete of the Week) were selected. In the West, Pitt-Johnstown’s Cassidy Crawford and Seton Hill’s Christiane Frye earned the honor.

Jordan helped the Bald Eagles down two tough Western Division foes on the road to remain perfect in the PSAC East. Jordan averaged 18.5 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and a block during the 2-0 week. The sophomore guard led the Bald Eagles to their ninth straight victory over their toughest opponent of the season, Cal, where she poured in 20 points to go with four rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. The performance followed a 16-point, six-rebound, and four-assist outburst in the victory over Seton Hill on Monday. Off to their best start in over 30 years, the Bald Eagles improve to 9-1 overall and remain undefeated in the PSAC (4-0). Lock Haven handed the 13th-ranked team in the country, Cal (8-2, 3-1 PSAC), its second loss overall and first in conference play. Lock Haven, who currently sits at No. 8 in the Atlantic Region rankings, is the only unbeaten team remaining in the PSAC East and sits atop the standings. The Haven has won nine games in a row and hasn't lost since the first game of the season.

Robinson led the Bald Eagles to victories over Seton Hill and #13 California last week with exceptional play on both ends of the floor. In the two victories, Robinson blocked seven shots and tallied three steals. Robinson kicked off the week with seven rebounds, three blocks and four steals (along with 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting) in the victory over Seton Hill and then led Lock Haven to an upset over the No. 13 Vulcans with five rebounds, four blocks, and 13 points. Robinson leads the entire PSAC in blocks (20) and blocks per game (2.0), while her total blocks are seven more than anyone in the conference.

In last week's three UPJ victories, Crawford averaged 19.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, four assists, and over a block and a steal per game. In the 73-65 win over Wheeling, she notched a game-high 24 points and 14 rebounds with four assists and a pair of blocks. She added 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists on Monday in the 77-56 win over Bloomsburg and then poured in 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds in the 79-41 victory against East Stroudsburg.

Frye's efforts on the defensive end helped Seton Hill to a pair of wins in three contests last week. She averaged 5.6 steals, 6.3 rebounds and 18.3 points per game. Frye also added 9 assists and swiped a career high eight steals against Lock Haven in the close 76-74 loss.
