LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced the 2025-26 Women’s Basketball All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners.
The All-Conference teams and Major Awards are determined by votes from the conference’s head coaches. Voting was concluded after the regular season and prior to the beginning of the PSAC tournament.
EAST
Lock Haven’s Alana Robinson was voted PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Year. Robinson earns this honor after being the PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 and 2025. In her senior season, Robinson led the Bald Eagles to the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Division and a regular season record of 22-5 (18-3 PSAC) by totaling 55 blocks for the season (third-most in the conference), 68 steals (fifth in the conference), and ranking in the top 10 in scoring average (15.0 points per games) and field goal percentage (.471). Robinson played 826 minutes in the regular season and eclipsed the 1500 career points mark this season.
Lock Haven’s Madeline Evans was named Eastern Division Defensive Player of the Year after a dominant year in the paint for the Bald Eagles. She ranked first in the PSAC and second in Division II in rebounds per game with 12.3. Evans also tied for third in Division II in double-doubles, accumulating 20 this season. Her rebounding numbers contributed to LHU to being ranked first as a team in the PSAC in rebounds per game with a 41.9 average. LHU held opponents to just 57.7 points a game (fourth-lowest in the PSAC).
Daniella Ranieli of Millersville was named Eastern Division Freshman of the Year after starting 28 games for the Marauders, averaging 13.1 points. She added totals of 72 assists and 51 steals in her stellar debut season.
Shepherd head coach Julie Kaufman earns her first career Eastern Division Coach of the Year award. She guided the Rams to the playoffs as the East’s No. 5 seed with an overall regular-season record of 11-16 (9-12 in conference play) just a season after finishing out of the postseason with a 7-21 overall record (4-17 PSAC).
WEST
IUP’s Nyshae’ Weaver was named Western Division Athlete of the Year after averaging 15.5 points, 8.8 rebounds (fifth in the conference), 2.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. In her senior season, Weaver reached the 1,000 career point mark.
Seton Hill junior Mia Kalich put together an another impressive campaign to earn Western Division Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. She led the PSAC in steals with 4.1 per game and averaged 11.9 rebounds per game (second-most in the conference and fourth in Division II). Kalich accumulated three triple-doubles this season, the most in Division II, and was tied for third in double-doubles with 20 in Division II.
Slippery Rock’s Iyanna Wade was named Western Division Freshman of the Year after a solid first season for the Rock. She averaged 14.0 points and 4.2 assists a game (third in the PSAC). Wade also had solid defensive efforts in her debut season totaling 28 steals.
IUP head coach Craig Carey was voted Western Division Coach of the Year after leading the Crimson hawks to a 23-3 overall record (17-3 PSAC) in the regular season and the West’s No. 2 seed. IUP kicked off the season with a 16-game winning streak and led the PSAC in field goal percentage at .499 and averaged the second-most points (79.0) and assists (16.33) in the conference. The team also allowed just 57.2 points to opponents per game, the third-best mark in the PSAC.
