8 PSAC student-athletes earn All-America status at 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships

DAY TWO RESULTS

PITTSBURG, Kan. -
Seton Hill's Natasha Bernett highlighted the PSAC women's contingent at Day Two of the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, earning First Team All-America status in the Pentathlon with a total of 3830 points and an eighth place finish.

The men from the PSAC also found success, including Kutztown's Joe Jardine in the Men's Pole Vault, notching a personal-best height of 5.14m for a sixth-place finish and a First Team All-America nod. A pair of PSAC field athletes also earned Second Team All-America: East Stroudsburg's Cole Gorham in the Men's Shot Put (10th, 17.12m) and Shippensburg's Mason Boyd in the Heptathlon (10th, 5219 points.) California's Logan Pfister also finished 14th in the Men's High Jump with a height of 2.03m.

DAY ONE RESULTS

PITTSBURG, Kan. -
California's Beyonc'e Kelly finished second in the Women's High Jump to open up the first day of competition at the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, earning First Team All-America status and clearing a height of 1.75m (5-8.75 feet). Her teammate Noah Bernarding earned Second Team All-America status with a 12th place finish (1:51.90) in the 800m run, while Shippensburg's Drew Dailey also earned Second Team All-America in the same event with a 10th place finish (time of 1:51.75) in the 800m.

Slippery Rock's Kendall Grossman finished tied for 12th in the Women's Pole Vaullt to earn All-America Second Team honors. 
 

INDIANAPOLIS – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference will be represented by six member institutions and 11 individual athletes competing in 11 different events at the upcoming 2024 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled to begin on Friday, March 8.
 
On the women's side, California's Beyonc'e Kelly will compete in the high jump with a qualifying distance of 1.73m. Also competing in the field events will be Slippery Rock's Kendall Grossman in the pole vault (qualifying distance of 3.97m) and Seton Hill's Natasha Bernett in the pentathlon. Bernett was voted Outstanding Field Athlete at last week's 2024 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
 
Shippensburg's Leah Graybill is the lone female track representative for the PSAC, qualifying 20th in the 200m with a time of 24.14.
 
For the men, a quartet will compete in field events. California's Logan Pfister enters the high jump after a 2.13m qualifying height, while East Stroudsburg's Cole Gorham (shot put, 17.71m) and Kutztown's Joe Jardine (pole vault, 5.06m) join Shippensburg's Mason Boyd, voted the 2024 Outstanding Field Athlete at last week's PSAC Indoor Championships after his stellar performance in the heptathlon.
 
On the track, California's Noah Bernarding qualified sixth in the 800m with a time of 1:49.40, and he is joined by a pair of Shippensburg student-athletes: Drew Dailey joins Bernarding in the 800m with a time of 1:50.28 while freshman Lavar Jackson will compete in the 200m (qualifying time of 21.19).
 
The 2024 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships features a total of 570 participants (270 men and 270 women) and begins on Friday, March 8 in Pittsburg, Kansas at the Robert W. Plaster Center.
