LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Women's Volleyball Athletes of the Week honorees. In the West, IUP's Delaney Concannon was selected as Athlete of the Week while Gannon's Kasey Smith was named Defensive Athlete of the Week. In the East, the East Stroudsburg's Kelly Crites (Athlete) and Anna Coulter (Defensive) earned the honors.

Concannon led the way in a crucial weekend for IUP volleyball, as they swept the weekend against Cal and Seton Hill to secure the No. 2 seed in the PSAC West. Concannon had 27 kills against Cal in four sets and 29 against Seton Hill in five sets. She recorded a .267 hitting percentage against Cala nd a .247 hitting percentage against Seton Hill. She also had a total of 37 digs over nine sets.

Smith powered Gannon to a 2–0 PSAC start, highlighted by a breakout performance in Saturday’s five-set thriller against Clarion. Smith posted a career-high 18 kills and a career-best 24.5 points, leading all players in the match.
For the week, she totaled 26 kills, averaged 2.89 kills per set, hit .354, and added 15 total blocks, including a season-high 8 blocks in Friday’s win over Slippery Rock.
