PSAC Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week - 9

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its ninth set of Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week for the 2025 season. From the Eastern Division, Shepherd's Josie Beezel (Athlete of the Week) and Shippensburg's Kirstin Brown (Defensive Athlete of the Week) earned the honors. In the West, Gannon's Olivia Dixon (Athlete) and Slippery Rock's Leah Allman (Defensive) were selected.

Beezel had two goals and an assist in a 1-0-1 week for the Rams, with a 2-2 tie on Oct. 29 versus West Chester and then a 5-1 win over Bloomsburg on Nov. 1. She had a goal and an assist in a 5-1 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday and added another goal against WCU.

Brown totaled 14 saves in a 1-1-0 week for the Raiders. Her best performance came last Saturday, as she posted a season-high matching 10 saves in SU's 2-0 Senior Day victory over East Stroudsburg. She faced a total of 21 shots, including 15 in the second half, and the clean sheet was her third of the season. She also tallied four saves in a loss versus Lock Haven midweek.

Dixon powered Gannon to an unbeaten week in PSAC West play, totaling three goals across two matches, including the game-winner in the Golden Knights’ 3–0 victory over Edinboro. She recorded a brace against Edinboro and added another goal at Slippery Rock to help Gannon earn a key road point in a matchup between the division’s top two teams. Dixon led Gannon in attacking production for the week, finishing with 12 shots and seven shots on goal across the two matches.

Allman helped lead Slippery Rock to a 1-0-1 week overall. Allman had a clean sheet with zero saves in a 1-0 win over Clarion and made a season-high eight saves in a 2-2 draw with No. 9 Gannon. With the results, Allman guided SRU's unbeaten streak to eight consecutive games (7-0-1), matching the eighth-longest unbeaten streak in program history.
