Slippery Rock's Layton breaks All-Time PSAC indoor record in Pole Vault, East Stroudsburg's Gorham takes second in Shot Put to conclude 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships

DAY 3 RESULTS

INDIANAPOLIS - East Stroudsburg's Cole Gorham and Slippery Rock's Drew Layton headlined a banner day for the PSAC at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. Gorham earned All-America honors and finished second in the Men's Shot Put with a personal best distance of 18.76 meters, just behind champion Myles Kerner (Grand Valley State) and his throw of 19.22. Slippery Rock's Seaton Wozniak also competed in the event and finished 15th with a distance of 16.88 meters.

Layton posted a personal-best height of 5.24 meters (17-2.25 ft.), breaking the PSAC Indoor Track & Field All-Time record of 17.1 ft., and finished sixth in the Pole Vault to also earn All-America honors. The previous record had been held by IUP's Derek Horton and had been set in 2019.

 



DAY 2 RESULTS

INDIANAPOLIS - A pair of PSAC student-athletes earned Second Team All-America honors after Day 2 of competition at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. East Stroudsburg's Anthony Voto finished 10th in the Men's Weight Throw with a distance of 19.13 while Lock Haven's Matthew Muthler finished 12th in the Heptathlon with a point total of 5005.
 



DAY 1 RESULTS

INDIANAPOLIS - Kutztown's Michael Fellin, Lock Haven's Matthew Muthler, and Slippery Rock's Anna Igims were the PSAC's only competitors on Thursday at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. Fellin finished in 12th place in the 60m for Second Team All-America honors, Igims came home in 17th place in the 5000m (time of 16:56.25), and Muthler's total of 2754 points sits him in 12th place in the Heptathlon after four events.

 

INDIANAPOLIS – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference will be represented by four member institutions and seven individual athletes competing in six different events at the upcoming 2025 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships.

On the women's side, Slippery Rock's Anna Igims will compete in the 5000m run with a qualifying time of 16:36.79 and is seeded 14th.
 
For the men, a pair will compete in the Shot Put: East Stroudsburg's Cole Gorham is seeded fourth with a throw of 18.60m while Slippery Rock's Seaton Wozniak is 16th with a seed throw of 17.58m. Another ESU Warrior, Anthony Voto, will compete in the Weight Throw and is seeded 14th in the event with a throw of 19.66m. Slippery Rock's Andrew Layton qualified for the pole vault with a seed of 5.06m, and Lock Haven's Matthew Muthler rounds out the field competitors in the Heptathlon (seeded seventh with a point total of 5291.) 
 
Kutztown's Michael Fellin, who set a new meet record and tied the PSAC record in the 60m dash at last weekend's 2025 PSAC Championship, will compete in that event at nationals and is seeded fourth with his time of 6.65.
 
This year's NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships run from Thursday, March 13 to Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Fall Creek Pavilion at Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis. It will be the first time the Division II indoor championships will be held in Indianapolis.
