LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week, with Bloomsburg's Vishesh Patel earning the honor.

Patel went 3-1 on the week, including a pair of No. 2 singles wins to clinch a spot in the PSAC Tournament for the Bloomsburg men’s tennis team. Patel had the match-clinching point on Senior Day at No. 2 singles against Victor Suarez of Millersville, 6-3, 6-3. Patel and Sergio Dilan went 1-1 on the week at No. 1 Doubles, including a 6-3 win over Dang Nguyen / Henrique Rocha of Kutztown on Thursday to clinch the doubles point. Patel also defeated Nikita Safanov of Kutztown, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 2 Singles on Thursday.
