?DAY 5

Central Missouri defeats East Stroudsburg, 12-8

East Stroudsburg's offense once again put up solid numbers but Central Missouri eliminated the Warriors after a 12-8 victory. ESU fought back after being down by as many as 10 runs after the top of the fourth inning -- scoring two in the bottom of the fourth on a Jack Rothenhausler two-run single, then adding another thanks to a Walker Zampella homer to left in the seventh. The team scored three more times in the bottom of the ninth, including a Dennis Pierce two-run double down the left field line, but could not catch Central Missouri. East Stroudsburg concludes the 2025 season with an overall record of 41-16.

DAY 3

East Stroudsburg defeats Northwood, 9-6

East Stroudsburg saved its best for last, as Jack Rotherhausler belted a walk-off grand slam to keep the Warriors' season alive and defeat Northwood, 9-6. ESU, who put up five runs in the fourth inning but were shut out otherwise, trailed by a run heading into the bottom of the ninth. A Dennis Pierce walk and two infield singles from Shanley Wall and Chaise Albus loaded the bases for Rotherhausler, who launched one over the fence in left field to win the game. Rothenhausler, Albus, and Jackson Rutecki each had two-hit games for the Warriors, while Shanley Wall added three hits in the winning effort.

East Stroudsburg will play the loser of Lenoir-Rhyne and Central Missouri on Tuesday, June 3 at 1:30 p.m.

A wild back-and-forth game between Lenoir-Rhyne and East Stroudsburg ended up with Lenoir-Rhyne advancing, 15-11, on Friday afternoon. ESU held a 3-0 lead after the top of the third inning after homers from Chaise Albus (a solo shot in the first ) and Dennis Pierce (a two-run bomb in the third) but Lenoir-Rhyne tied the game in the bottom of the inning with three runs of their own, then scored seven in the bottom of the fourth inning to take a 10-3 lead. They added three more in the fifth and two more in the seventh -- and they would need them, as ESU put up seven runs of its own in the top of the eighth to draw within four -- but could not close the gap any further in the ninth.

The Warriors will be back on the field for a lower bracket elimination game, scheduled for Sunday, June 1 at 1:30 PM.

The first pod will be hosted by top seed Millersville, who won the 2025 PSAC Baseball Championship on Saturday afternoon. Also traveling to that pod will be No. 4 seed California and No. 5 seed Seton Hill, who were also the final three teams remaining in last week's PSAC tournament.

The other three-team pod, hosted by No. 2 seed West Chester, features No. 3 seed East Stroudsburg and No. 6 seed Fairmont State.

All brackets are double elimination. The winners of each pod will match up in a Super Regional to determine which team heads to Cary, N.C. to compete for the national championship.
