MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has approved a reduced schedule for the Mansfield Women's Soccer program for the remainder of the 2025 season. The decision comes in response to limited roster numbers following a coaching transition in the spring, which made it challenging to sustain a traditional full schedule of competition. 

The revised schedule is designed to prioritize the health and well-being of student-athletes while ensuring the program continues to meet NCAA minimum schedule requirements. By reducing the overall number of contests, Mansfield aims to balance competitive opportunities with the need to avoid excessive physical demands on a limited roster. 

“Mansfield remains committed to providing a meaningful experience for its women’s soccer student-athletes,” said PSAC Commissioner Steve Murray. “This revised schedule protects their welfare while allowing the program to continue to compete at the NCAA Division II level.” 

Each PSAC Eastern Division opponent will play Mansfield only once in the schedule and those contests will not be counted in the Division’s standings.   

The new schedule includes: 

Sept. 10                 at Bloomsburg
Sept. 16                 at Lock Haven 
Sept. 20                 at Shepherd 
Sept. 27                 at Millersville 
Oct. 4                     East Stroudsburg 
Oct. 11                   West Chester 
Oct. 15                   at IUP 
Oct. 22                   at Shippensburg 
 
Mansfield has already played Caldwell and Kutztown.
