LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its third set of Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week. For the women, East Stroudsburg's Riley Trentowski (Track) and Slippery Rock's Allie Taylor (Field) were honored. For the men, Lock Haven's Jakob Rager earned Track Athlete of the Week while Kutztown's Andrew Szeplaki was selected as Field Athlete of the Week.

Trentowski placed first in the Mile and earned a PSAC qualifying mark with a 5:00.23 time (converted to 4:57.29). Her time marked the second-fastest time in program history and she currently ranks first in the PSAC by over 17 seconds.

Taylor was the top non-Division I finisher and took second overall at the YSU Collegiate Invitational with a season-best and NCAA provisional clearance of 3.73 meters in the pole vault. That mark is the only NCAA mark in the women's pole vault in the PSAC this year as Taylor ranks No. 1 in the PSAC and Atlantic Region and No. 21 in Division II.

Rager was a standout for the Bald Eagles at the Nittany Lion Open last weekend, earning two PSAC qualifying marks. Rager ran 8:41.59 in the 3000m (the third-fastest time in the PSAC this season) and 4:22.09 in the mile (sixth-best in the conference.)

Szeplaki set new Kutztown University and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference indoor pole vault records, Saturday, clearing 5.30 meters (17-4.5) to win the event at the Alvernia Spring Invitational. In just his second collegiate meet, Szeplaki turned in the top mark in NCAA Division II this season. He moved from 10th to first on Kutztown's all-time top 10 list, surpassing the previous school record of 5.14m (16-10.25) set by All-American Joe Jardine at the NCAA DII Championships in 2024. He also established a new PSAC record by topping the former mark of 5.24m (17-2.25) held by Slippery Rock's Drew Layton since the 2025 NCAA DII Championships. Szeplaki was in a class of his own on Saturday, vaulting 2-feet, 7.25-inches higher than the second-place finisher.
