Lucas Sekasi
Gannon
Guard
Sophomore
Washington, DC / Jackson-Reed

Sekasi was a defensive disruptor for Gannon during a 2–0 week that included a 79–61 upset of No. 2 Daemen, snapping the Wildcats’ 51-game regular-season winning streak, and a 112–86 PSAC road win at Pitt-Johnstown. Sekasi totaled seven steals across the two contests, averaging 3.5 steals per game, while also adding six rebounds and 10 assists with just one turnover. His on-ball pressure and ability to jump passing lanes consistently changed possessions and fueled Gannon’s transition offense in both wins. In the victory over Daemen, Sekasi recorded three steals, three rebounds, and three assists while helping limit one of the nation’s top teams to 61 points, its lowest total of the 2025-26 season. He followed that with four steals and seven assists at Pitt-Johnstown.
