LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its sixth set of Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week. For the men, Shippensburg's Gabriel Lewis earned Track Athlete of the Week honors while Gian Greggo was selected as Field Athlete of the Week. For the women, Bloomsburg's Alexis Tepper (Track) and California's Loreena Manser (Field Athletes) were honored.

Lewis, who broke SU's 60-meter record in the season opener back in December by running 6.67 seconds at Bucknell, improved upon that performance Saturday at Penn State's Sykes & Sabock Challenge by winning the finals in 6.66 seconds. Lewis went toe-to-toe with fellow PSAC sprint great Michael Fellin of Kutztown and defeated him in Saturday's race by .09 seconds. The two men are the current class of the PSAC on the league's performance list (Fellin was an NCAA qualifier last season who ran 6.65 seconds). Lewis currently ranks seventh in the nation on the NCAA Division II performance list.

Greggo joined an elite group of throwers in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) history Saturday at Penn State's Sykes & Sabock Challenge by joining the 60-foot shot put club. On his second attempt Saturday, Greggo delivered a shot put of 60 feet, 0 ¼ inches (18.29 meters) to win the competition, besting a field of 25 other competitors that included 18 NCAA Division I throwers. For Greggo, the performance was a PR of 2 feet, 4 ½ inches (.72 meters) – a major improvement upon a previous-best throw from two weeks ago at Bucknell. It moves Greggo past Grant Smith, whose SU record of 59 feet, 5 inches (18.11 meters) had lasted for 12 years. Greggo became just the sixth thrower in the nation (NCAA Division II) this season to break the 60-foot mark (he currently ranks 6th in D2). Greggo also competed in the weight throw; his top mark was 57 feet, 11 ¾ inches (17.66 meters).

Tepper shattered the BU school record in the mile at the Fastrack National Invite on Friday. The junior's 4:54.15 placed her 7th out of 88 runners while finishing first among DII competitors. Tepper broke the nine-year-old school record in the mile by nearly six seconds while achieving a personal best by three seconds.The Cherry Hill native's NCAA provisional time sees her lead the PSAC performance list by over three seconds and sits her 31st in the nation.

Manser broke her week-old school record in the long jump over the weekend and improved her NCAA provisional mark while at the Doug Raymond Invitational hosted by Kent State. She won the event with a distance of 6.04 meters (19-9.75 feet), eclipsing the mark of 5.74 meters (18-10.0 feet) set last week after the previous school record stood for nearly a decade. Manser boasts the top mark in the PSAC this year in the event and ranks No. 10 on the national performance list. The Virginia native became the first female student-athlete in the league to clear six meters in the long jump during the indoor season since the 2019 campaign. Manser also placed second in the 200-meter dash (24.65), finished sixth in the finals of the 60-meter dash following a time of 7.73 seconds in the preliminaries and was a member of the 4x400-meter relay at Kent State.
