LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Golf Athletes of the Week. For Men's Golf, Bloomsburg's Jarred Berish was selected as Athlete of the Week. For Women's Golf, Clarion's McKayla Kerle and Bloomsburg's Noemi Krizso were recognized as Co-Athletes of the Week.

Berish picked up his fourth career win by carding an even-par 72 at the Husky Spring Invitational on Thursday. The senior's round featured five birdies and eight pars. Berish's round featured back-to-back birdies on holes four and five and a three-under stretch from holes 13 to 17. The Pottstown previously won the Husky Invitational on October 10, 2024 with a program record 69 (-3).

Kerle tied for first at the Fighting Scot Spring Invitational over the weekend, and in the process led the Golden Eagle to the team title. She shot an 89 on Saturday and followed that up with an 81 on Sunday, giving her a total score of 170 and tying her for first in the field. She ultimately took second after losing on the fourth sudden death playoff hole.

Krizso collected a pair of top-ten finshes this past week, including her fifth career victory at the Husky Invitational on Thursday. The junior tallied 11 pars and one birdie en route to winning by one stroke over Shepherd's Sara Veara with a 6-over 78. Holes 9 to 18 saw the New Windsor, N.Y. native record eight pars and just two bogeys. On Sunday, Krizso notched four pars and one birdie to tie for eighth at the Kutztown Spring Invitational.
