Gannon, West Chester conclude seasons at East Regional of 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship

FINDLAY, Ohio - The Gannon and West Chester women's golf programs concluded the season on Wednesday at the East Regional of the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship, hosted by Findlay University at Findlay Country Club. Findlay finished atop the leaderboard, 25 strokes clear of the field, and joins second place Grand Valley State, third place Ferris State, and fourth place Missouri St. Louis in advancing to the national tournament. 

Hanna Lignell was the PSAC's highest individual finisher, claiming 13th place with a three-day total of +17. West Chester as a team finished in ninth place, +110 for the week, while Gannon finished in 17th at +136.

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Committee has selected the teams and individuals that will compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's Gannon University (PSAC Champions) and West Chester University will compete at the East Regional, held at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio on May 4-6. Each site will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. 

All participants will compete through the 54 holes of competition. The top five (central), four (south), four (east) and five (west) teams along with the top two individuals not on an advancing team will advance to the championships.

The tournament championship will begin on Tuesday, May 12 and continue through Saturday, May 16 at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
