LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week. In the West, IUP's Charliz Tabili earned the honor. In the East, East Stroudsburg's Ariel Kelsick was selected.

Tabili went an undefeated 5-0 over three matches last week, including winning the clinching match against Slippery Rock, to give IUP a 4-3 win in the showdown between PSAC Western Division powers.

Kelsick went 4-0 on the week as ESU defeated West Chester, 4-3, and Messiah, 5-2, improving to 4-0 in conference and 16-4 overall. The junior, paired with Jenna Kastell, picked up ESU's lone doubles win against the Golden Rams with a 6-3 victory. In the second spot in singles play, she tied the dual with a 6-4, 6-1 win over West Chester's Ashleigh Grooms, as ESU would complete the comeback in the final match. Kelsick and Kastell had another strong day in doubles play versus Messiah, winning 6-2 to start the day. Now playing in ESU's top singles spot, she defeated Messiah's Kiara Bomboy 6-1, 6-4 to complete the perfect week.
