PSAC Women's Tennis Athletes of the Week - 10

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week. In the West, Edinboro's Cecelia Carayol earned the honor. In the East, East Stroudsburg's Ariel Kelsick was selected.

Carayol was 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-0 at No. 1 doubles as the Scots defeated Seton Hill and Clarion to clinch a spot in the PSAC postseason.
 



PSAC Women’s Tennis Eastern Division Athlete of the Week

Kelsick's play at the top of ESU's lineup this week helped the Warriors finish the regular season undefeated in conference play by defeating Bloomsburg for the PSAC East regular season championship. Kelsick went 4-0 on the week, winning in the top doubles spot against both Chestnut Hill and Bloomsburg, then splitting time between the top and second spots in singles play as well. Dominant in singles play, she won both of her matches in two sets each.
