LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Field Hockey Athletes of the Week. Kutztown's Anna Harris was selected as Athlete of the Week while Shippensburg's Liv Schweighart was recognized as the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Freshman midfielder Anna Harris had a successful week for No. 2 Kutztown, which went 2-0 against two ranked opponents. Harris doubled her season scoring total in the two games, finishing with two goals and an assist. In the 2-1 victory at No. 7 Saint Anselm this past Saturday, Harris scored the game-winning goal, sending her team to the ranked road win. In a 6-0 victory at No. 8 Assumption the following day, Harris recorded a goal and an assist to lead the offense. Harris is currently tied for third in the PSAC with three assists on the season.

Schweighart posted a shutout in SU's 2-0 victory over No. 3 Newberry last Saturday afternoon at Robb Sports Complex. The freshman goalkeeper made two stops against the Wolves, extending her shutout streak to three games to begin her collegiate career. With Schweighart leading the way, the SU defense weathered four Newberry fourth quarter penalty corners to preserve the shutout ---successfully quieting a Newberry attack that had outscored its opponents 17-0 entering play Saturday,
