CALIFORNIA: Led by one of the top receiving performances in school history, the Vulcans held a fourth-quarter lead over No. 14 Shepherd on Saturday afternoon before suffering a 44-34 loss to the two-time, defending-regional champion Rams at Adamson Stadium.
EDINBORO: The Edinboro defense forced three turnovers and the offense racked up over 400 yards and were highly efficient on third down to lift the Fighting Scots football team to a 23-13 victory over host Bloomsburg Saturday afternoon.
WEST CHESTER: The turnover bug bit West Chester again last week as the Golden Rams gave the ball away three times for the second straight week. WCU is a -4 in the turnover margin.
MILLERSVILLE: Millersville has totaled at least 133 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown in each of the first three games and has held two of the first three opponents to fewer than 100 yards rushing and just two total rushing touchdowns.
KUTZTOWN: Graduate student running back Darryl Davis-McNeil became the 14th player in program history to rush for over 2,000 yards in his career, picking up 56 yards and three touchdowns.
SHEPHERD: Redshirt-sophomore defensive back Enelio Pen, junior defensive back Christian McDowell, and sophomore linebacker JT Kouame-Yao each recorded eight tackles to lead the Shepherd defense in the 44-34 win over California.
CLARION: As far as keeping opposing offenses off the scoreboard once they enter the red zone, the Golden Eagles have been one of the best in the PSAC, allowing an average of just 2.40 points per red zone trip.
GANNON: Gannon hosts Clarion for the annual Homecoming game on Saturday. The Golden Knights are looking to break into the win column in their PSAC West opener after playing three games that have been decided in the final minutes.
EAST STROUDSBURG: Facing one of the top defenses in the conference, the East Stroudsburg University football team ran for 344 yards and three touchdowns, while the Warrior defense held Seton Hill to 256 total yards in a dominant 55-21 victory over the Griffins on a Sunny Family Weekend Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
LOCK HAVEN: Lock Haven enters week 4 as the third ranked offense in the PSAC, scoring 36.0 points per game with the third most offensive touchdowns (15).
IUP: After playing in seven consecutive home games dating back to last season, believed to be the longest streak in program history, the Crimson Hawks will hit the road for the first time since late October 2022.
MERCYHURST: Adam Urena completed 24 passes while accumulating 279 yards through the air to go along with his two touchdowns. He now has 896 through three games on the year to go along with eight passing touchdowns.
BLOOMSBURG: Junior running back Kaleb Monaco had his second-straight game with 100+ yards on the ground, but Bloomsburg dropped a 23-13 decision to visiting Edinboro after a late fourth-quarter surge came up just short.
SHIPPENSBURG: Against IUP, SU totaled seven tackles for loss, getting contributions in that category from graduate Evan Townsend-Henry, redshirt-junior Isaiah Gilmore, redshirt-freshman Ibrahim Diawara, freshman Elijah Cunningham, junior Javon Cruz, and redshirt-senior Nasir Greer.
SLIPPERY ROCK: WR Kyle Sheets was named the PSAC West Offensive Athlete of the Week after grabbing career-highs of 12 catches for 210 yards and three touchdowns against Millersville.
SETON HILL: It is the 14th meeting between the two schools. The 14 meetings are the most between the Griffins and any other school. SHU last defeated Slippery Rock in 2015.
