SHIPPENSBURG:
The Raiders persevered against Bloomsburg in Week 4 thanks to a next-man-up approach offensively as they dealt with injuries at quarterback and running back and rode the strength of their defense to their first victory.

SHEPHERD: The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Shippensburg at noon for Hall of Fame Weekend.

LOCK HAVEN: Quarterback Danny Sanchez continued his strong play, throwing for 178 yards (8-for-21) and two touchdowns in Week 4.

MILLERSVILLE: Millersville leads the PSAC with 14 QB sacks. The six sacks last week were the team’s most in a game since the 2015 season opener.

CLARION: Senior linebacker Kareem Hamdan ranks among the PSAC’s active leaders in total tackles and tackles per game and is on pace to become the first Golden Eagle player with 300+ career tackles in four years.

CALIFORNIA: The Vulcans improved to 2-1 this year and opened conference play with a victory for the 18th consecutive year.

EAST STROUDSBURG: East Stroudsburg University settled in for a 35-21 road win to damper Lock Haven’s Homecoming and picked up its 500th win in program history in the process.

KUTZTOWN: Kutztown made a statement in its PSAC East opener at 13th-ranked Shepherd last Saturday. The Golden Bears forced five turnovers and controlled possession for more than 40 minutes in a 20-3 victory at Ram Stadium.

MERCYHURST: Ryan Davison was the go-to target through the air as he reeled in five catches for 77 yards with a pair of scores to his line for the first two-touchdown game of his career.

EDINBORO: The Scot coverage team has held opponents to just 1.33 yards per return ranking 25th in the nation. The Scots net punting is a PSAC-best 42.2 yards per punt, which ranks fourth in the country. 

BLOOMSBURG: Ty Pringle led Bloomsburg with 31 yards on the ground while Kaleb Monaco had 27. KJ Riley was 7-for-14 passing with 44 yards.     

WEST CHESTER: Connor Noble led all tacklers with 17 tackles against Millersville. The Golden Rams welcome Bloomsburg on Homecoming/Family Weekend Saturday at 2 pm.

GANNON: Gannon posted the largest comeback win in school history while celebrating Homecoming with a 27-20 against Clarion.

SETON HILL: Ky’Ron Craggette rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown in last week’s loss to #12 Slippery Rock. Seton Hill continues PSAC West play as they host Gannon for Homecoming on Saturday. 

IUP: Saturday marks the 97th all-time meeting between IUP and Slippery Rock, dating back to 1907. The teams have split the last 16 meetings with eight wins apiece. 

SLIPPERY ROCK: SRU head coach Shawn Lutz is 32-4 against the PSAC West in the last five seasons and is 35-8 against the Division in his career as head coach.
