LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Field Hockey Athletes of the Week. Both Jess Davidson of IUP and Jasmine Miller of West Chester were selected as Co-Athletes of the Week while IUP's Brooke Eberly earned the Defensive Athlete of the Week honor.

Davidson scored the game-winning overtime goal against Shippensburg, the No. 1 team in Division II and previously unbeaten until the Crimson Hawks scored a 1-0 victory in non-conference action last Wednesday. Davidson finished the week with two goals on three shots, all on target, and also scored against East Stroudsburg, the No. 2 team in the nation.

Miller led West Chester to an important 5-1 PSAC Tournament-clinching victory at Frostburg State on Friday night with a career-high four goals. Miller scored each of the game's first four goals for West Chester, scoring three times in the first half before scoring her career-high fourth of the night just 40 seconds into the second half.

Eberly faced off against the No.1 and No. 2 teams in all of Division II last week, shutting out No. 1 Shippensburg to win in overtime, 1-0, and making 11 critical saves in the contest. She also made six saves in a 2-1 loss to No. 2 East Stroudsburg later in the week.
