Demesy posted six 1st-place efforts in three meets so far this fall, including 1st-place showings in both the 500-yard and 1,000-yard freestyle six days apart for four of his six wins. Demesy owns the fastest time in the PSAC in both of those events so far on the season, and he easily hit a PSAC-qualifying time in all seven of his events. The only race that the distance swimmer didn't win was the 200-yard butterfly where he finished third, but still hit a PSAC-qualifying time.

Demesy won the 500 and 200 free against Southern Connecticut State University with times of 4:41.18 and 1:43.90, respectively. He followed that with a first-place effort in both the 500 and 1,000 free at New York University in times of 4:40.57 and 9:32.07, respectively. That 9:32.07 is the best in the PSAC so far this year. He placed third in the 200 fly in 1:56.38. Six days later, he repeated wins in the 500 and 1000 free in times of 4:39.82 and 9:35.97, respectively. His 4:39.82 is also the best in the PSAC so far this year.
